In addition to your music, your iPhone, iPad, or iPod stores media like iBooks, Ringtones, Audiobooks, Voice Memos, Movies, TV Shows, and Podcasts. Whatever the type of special media that you have, iExplorer can help you transfer it.
What you will need
- iExplorer
- An iPhone, iPad, or iPod
- USB cable to connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod
- A Mac or PC with iTunes installed
Before you begin
If you don't already have iExplorer installed download it by clicking the button below. For more detailed installation instructions, click here.
For Audiobooks, Ringtones, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, and Voice Memos, you can export them as if they were songs. You'll find them under Media Library in the left navigation panel, same place as your iTunes playlists, and these will be included in an Auto-Transfer. Or, to transfer them individually, just highlight one in the left panel and use the Transfer from Device button.
For iBooks data, just click on Books in the left panel, and you'll see your books and PDF's listed in the main window. You can transfer any EPUB folders (books) or PDF files to your computer by drag/dropping them (hold Control or Command to select multiple). Then, to add them to your iTunes Library, just click on iTunes File menu > Add to Library.
