This tutorial shows how to install iExplorer on Mac or Windows in just a few minutes.
Macroplant installers are lightweight and focused, with no bundled toolbars or adware.
What you will need
- iExplorer
- An iPhone, iPad, or iPod
- USB cable to connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod
- A Mac or PC with iTunes or the Apple Music app installed

Quick Steps
- Download iExplorer.
- Open the installer file.
- Complete the Mac or Windows install flow below.
- Launch iExplorer.
After downloading, locate the installer file (usually in your Downloads folder) and open it.
Drag iExplorer into your Applications folder.
Click Run to start setup.
If prompted by User Account Control, click Yes to allow installation.
Installation is complete. Open iExplorer from Applications and optionally drag it to your Dock for quick access.
Continue through the setup wizard until installation is complete, then launch iExplorer from the desktop shortcut or Start menu.
