Introduction
Calendar data includes meetings, reminders, travel plans, and personal events that are often critical to preserve.
iExplorer helps you access this data from your device or backup and export it for migration or archiving.
What you will need
- iExplorer
- An iPhone, iPad, or iPod
- USB cable to connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod
- A Mac or PC with iTunes or the Apple Music app installed

Step-by-step instructions
Quick Steps
- Connect your iPhone or iPad and open iExplorer.
- Go to Data → Calendar.
- If prompted, choose/create a backup.
- Select a calendar and export events.
iExplorer can read Calendar data from a connected device or from an iTunes backup.
Access Calendar on a Connected Device
From Device Overview, open Data → Calendar (or Backups → Calendar in the sidebar).
Access Calendar from Backup
Click Explore Backups, choose the target backup, then open Calendar.
View and Export Calendar Events
Select a calendar (for example, Work or Personal) to view events.
Use the export controls at the bottom of the panel:
- On Mac, export directly into Calendar.
- On Windows, export to compatible data files for Outlook and other apps.
