Introduction
iPhone call logs store caller details, date/time, and duration for phone and FaceTime calls.
This tutorial shows how to open that data in iExplorer and export it to your computer for backup or reporting.
What you will need
- iExplorer
- An iPhone, iPad, or iPod
- USB cable to connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod
- A Mac or PC with iTunes or the Apple Music app installed

Quick Steps
- Connect your iPhone and open iExplorer.
- Go to Data → Call History.
- If needed, choose or refresh an iTunes backup.
- Sort and export call log entries.
iExplorer can load call history from a connected iPhone or an existing iTunes backup.
Access Call History on a Connected iPhone
From Device Overview, open Data → Call History.
You can also open Backups → Call History from the left sidebar.
Access Call History from an iTunes Backup
Click Explore Backups, choose a backup in Browse iTunes Backups, then open Call History.
View and Export
After loading call history, sort entries by call type, date, number, or duration.
Use the export actions at the bottom of the window to save selected entries or the full log.
